Northamptonshire CPSA

It’s the county sporting championship this Sunday 5th June. Jo Smith, Louise Smith, Mick Russell and Henry Piercy were last year’s winners. This competition carries an ‘If you’re in: You may win’ prize for one lucky entrant. 250 cartridges are up for grabs. See Marty to get your name booked onto a squad if you want a chance to win.

Tony Clayton was the only competitor for the county competition but I’m sure it didn’t dent his enjoyment of the event. Well done for winning the Veteran’s Trophy. Thanks go to John Nightingale at Rugby and District Trap Club for hosting this competition for us.

Could you be a Team Manager for the inter county competitive season? We are looking for county shooters who would be willing to gather together others to form a team in the following disciplines; FITASC, ABT, DTL, Sporting, Skeet and All Round. Northants Colt and Junior shooters can now enter the Sporting, Skeet, All Round and Sportrap championship competitions B/O for free. All you have to do is bring along their gun and cartridges, book onto the competition and the county committee will pay their entry fee. (CPSA levy £2 still applies). This does not affect entry into the prize draw. If you’re in : you may win!

There’s a prize draw of 250 cartridges attached to some county championship competitions this year. Before the start of the county Sporting, Skeet, All Round and Sportrap championship competitions a random score will be decided by Google. At the end of the competition when the winners of all the silverware have been announced the prize score envelope will be opened and the Northants shooter with the nearest score to that chosen, will win the prize. ZZ Helice has been arranged for Saturday June 11th at Garlands Shooting Ground. It will be shot at the same time as the I/C Helice competition. If you want to form a county team for this event please contact Marty at NSG.
