Shout Out for Team Managers

Could you be a Team Manager for the inter county competitive season? We are looking for county shooters who would be willing to gather together others to form a team in the following disciplines; FITASC, ABT, DTL, Sporting, Skeet and All Round. Colts and Juniors Shoot for Free

Northants Colt and Junior shooters can now enter the Sporting, Skeet, All Round and Sportrap championship competitions B/O for free. All you have to do is bring along their gun and cartridges, book onto the competition and the county committee will pay their entry fee. (CPSA levy £2 still applies). This does not affect entry into the prize draw. If you’re in : you may win!

If You’re In : You May Win

There’s a prize draw of 250 cartridges attached to some county championship competitions this year. Before the start of the county Sporting, Skeet, All Round and Sportrap championship competitions a random score will be decided by Google. At the end of the competition when the winners of all the silverware have been announced the prize score envelope will be opened and the Northants shooter with the nearest score to that chosen, will win the prize. Universal Trench Fixture 2022

The county championship for UT has been arranged for 15th May at Rugby and District shooting ground. John would love a text or email to book in for this competition. Details on the Rugby website.

Fixture Update

ZZ Helice has been arranged for Saturday June 11th at Garlands Shooting Ground. It will be shot at the same time as the I/C Helice competition. If you want to form a county team for this event please contact Marty at NSG.

County FITASC Fixture Agreed

Our friends at Sporting Targets have agreed to host this year’s FITASC competition. It will be held on the weekend of 2nd and 3rd of July shot in conjunction with the Lincolnshire county competition. The date has been added to the fixture list under the County Fixtures tab.

Fixtures Update 2022

The region has now arranged its inter-county fixtures for the upcoming 2022 season. They can be found by clicking on the Inter County Competitions 2022 heading above. Regional and National individual competitions can be found by clicking on the Northants County Fixtures 2022 heading above, but please note the County fixtures have NOT been published yet and are still showing 2021 dates.

Farewell to the outgoing Chair

At the AGM in January the meeting thanked the outgoing Chair, Simon Vogel for his hard work. Simon steered the county through the difficult COVID 19 period. He dealt with the shut downs and restrictions to ensure that shooters stayed safe. Simon reluctantly stepped down as Chair when he moved to a neighboring county. We wish him well. The AGM voted Pete Wallane into the Chair for 2022.

2022 AGM

The 2022 AGM will be held at the Northampton Shooting Ground on January 12th at 7.30. Everyone is welcome to come along to support the committee. Thanks
