Nottingham and District Gun Club hosted this competition and four hardy Veterans went up to compete. Shooting as a group at 12.30 the squad shot in very windy conditions but at least they missed the rain. Neil Kirton, County DTL Veteran champion came top of the four with 96/281. John Woolacott with 91/270 was second and Martin Ferris 86/247 and Frank Owen 86/244 fiercely competed the third place in the group. Altogether the Veterans’ team came fourth.
The winning Senior team was Nottinghamshire with 1737 with Suffolk as runners up with 1717.
Junior High Gun was Nottingham shooter George Lewis with 99/293 The highest shooting Colt was F Brown, also from Nottinghamshire with a very impressive 97/283.
